Moss Control Program
Moss grows on the soil surface in lawns where it competes with the turf causing the grass to thin out and create an excessive buildup of thatch. Promoting healthy soil, turf health and dense turf grass are some of the best ways to prevent moss. Our moss control program is custom tailored to the application. Recommendations for moss control include irrigating deeply and infrequently, maintaining proper mowing height, aeration, drainage correction and dethatching. In certain cases, applying herbicides may be a better option.
